Hindi Diwas observed

Rashtra Bhasha Hindi Institute (RBHI), Tuensang observed 'Hindi Diwas' on Friday with D. Panda, principal of Government Higher Secondary School at GHSS auditorium. The celebration was marked by essay and poem competition. In essay competition first prize was won by Lomuchu of RBHI Tuensang while Sorimony of Holy Cross School and P.P. Chuba, Assam Rifles School won second and third position. In poem competition, Sanchu Chang of Assam Rifles School secured first position while Thronglila of St. Joseph School and Berimong of Bethesda School secured second and third position. Other highlights of the programme included song, dance and choreography. Earlier the programme was chaired by P. Singh, principal RBHI, Tuensang while invocation was pronounced by pastor of Christ Church, Yangten Chollen Chang. Special number was presented by the students of Baptist Thangyen School, vote of thanks was proposed by Atula Chang, instructor RBHI Tuensang.
