Dimapur police Saturday at around 2 p.m. rescued two minor girls from “Hotel Luxury Inn” at New Market based on complaint lodged by father of one minor Zubita Khatton (16), alleging of forced prostitution by his own sister. According to the statement of a complainant Asiya Begum (his sister) came to his house at Burma Camp and took away his daughter stating she would take her to New Market and bring her back who did not turn up. When he queried her of his daughter's whereabouts Asiya reportedly said that Zubita was kept as maid servant in one Naga house but later he came to learn that his daughter was kept at Hotel with one Anjili Timul, a Karbi girl, who were allegedly forced into flesh trade. The victims disclosed that before they were forced into prostitution manager of the hotel allegedly raped both of them before they were passed on to other customers. The victim Zubita claimed that she has been in captivity since last week while Anjili said she was held for more than a month. According to police the accused Asiya Begum has also confessed her guilt. During interrogation Asiya confessed that even in previous occasion she used to bring minor girls to Dimapur and earn her living, letting them engage into flesh trade. The police also learnt that Asiya was earlier into prostitution but took up the "business" of arranging minor girls for prostitution. Police said accused was arrested for procuration of minor girls for the purpose of prostitution and wrongful confinement. Meanwhile, according to police the manager of the hotel was still absconding while a hunt has been launched to trace him.
