Feud resolved

The case regarding an assault meted out to one Assamese youth Gautam Baurah of Bhabanipur village under Mariani PS by some Naga youths on September 21, was amicably resolved in a joint meet comprising of both villages organized by Border Peace Coordination Committee (Assam-Nagaland) on September 30 at Kherimia village (under Mariani P.S). According to Er. Temsu Wathi Ao, District Informatics Officer (NIC), DC’s Office, Mokokchung & Coordinator, BPCC(A-N), as per the agreement a fine of Rs.500 was imposed from Inache Sema of Akahoto village under Wokha district as medical relief to Gautam Baurah. Meanwhile, the parties present in the meet unanimously resolved to live in peace affirming such incident would not be repeated in future.
