Despite any formal training in music, Remo, who resides at Xuvihe colony (Sema Tilla) from Nagaland has won the title of Dimapur Idol last year.
Like all best things come in small packages, Remo too is a tiny bundle of talent and a power packed performer. He is confident; versatile and believes he has all the elements of being an Indian Idol. Remo enjoys listening to Sufi and soft romantic music. He is die-hard cricket fan and also takes interest in painting.
Remo who is 17 years old is currently studying in 11th standard, taking commerce stream.
The final 30 contestants of Indian Idol Session 4 will be divided into 3 groups of 10 (ten) contestants. From Piano round 11 contestants will be selected for Spectacular round by public voting. Those who are not selected in Piano round will enter into ‘Wild Card Round’ and one contestant will be selected by public voting to participate in spectacular round.
In the spectacular round, final 12 will compete with each other in Spectacular round which will run over the course of 12 weeks from November 2008 to February 2009. At the end of every week one contestant will get eliminate by public votes until only 2 Contestants – the Finalists – remain in the Competition. The Final of Indian Idol 4 will take place at around February 2009. The winner will be chosen by public voting.
