3 NSCN-K men held

An IRB patrolling party intercepted a Maruti Van (Nl-07-4356) and apprehended three NSCN (K) activists along with arms at Agri colony junction, Kohima, Monday around 5 p.m. According to police, the three NSCN activists were identified as ‘Sgt’ Tseuthungo Lotha of Mekokla village, Wokha district, ‘Sgt’ Vibou Angami of Nerhema village, Kohima district and ‘Sgt Maj’ Khehoto of Alapami village under Zunheboto district. Police also recovered one AK-56 rifle with two magazines, four 9mm pistols with 74 live rounds, one hand grenade and sixty live rounds of AK-47. Meanwhile, police also informed that joint search operations were conducted by police and IRB at Porter Lane and Bayavü colonies on Monday. However, no arrest was made or arms recovered police added.
