NSF Martyrs’ Trophy grand finale today

Defending Champion Nagaland Police will take on fancied Tribal Spirit on Saturday in the grand final of the 9th NSF Martyrs Memorial trophy organized by the Angami Students Union (ASU). Nagaland Police will be playing in the finals for the second consecutive time, on the way to final, it beat Tragapon Club 1-0 in round one, routed Shochiboqa 7-0 in round two, blanked Apex SC 3-0 in pre-quarter-finals, in quarter-finals edged out Life Sports Dimori cove 3-1, drubbed Anal Students Union 6-0 in semi-final. Tribal Spirit, started of their campaign crushing Science College 5-0 in round one, thrashed Bravura Club 6-1 in round two, in round of sixteen beat Phezou Boys Club 4-0, in quarter-finals hammered two time runner-up New Market 4-0 and in semifinal beat Kingdom Stewards by a solitary goal. So far both teams have scored 20 goals each and conceded one each. Meanwhile the guest of honour in the final match on October 25 at 1.00 pm will be Sentiyanger, IAS commissioner and secretary Horticulture and Information and Public Relations, while special number will be presented by Emilo Patton.
