Cloth distribution to the needy

A painting exhibition and cloth distribution programme was held at Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS) Sunday with Azheto Zhimomi, MLA as chief guest. Speaking at the occasion Azheto said Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary managed by BSS a charitable organization was founded by Manik Bhattacharjee, a dream -child of late Manik Bhatacharjee which had already established itself as one of the most reputed institute in Nagaland . Further, he said education was not about securing good marks rather education in itself was to aim for an all- round development of an individual. He encouraged the students to participate in the co-curricular activities. In his short speech, Tovihoto (ex- DMC) Chairperson also acknowledged the contribution of the BSS towards the society in time of natural calamities. The cloths would be distributed to the poor and needy residing in railway, west yard colony. Earlier, the welcome speech was presented by Swami Chinmayanandaji, Secretary, Pranab Vidyapith Hr. Sec. School, and G.L.Sharma Manager Regional office, S.I.B. Dimapur inaugurated the cloths distribution. Later, L.C.Das, H.M, Pranab Vidyapith Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur had pronounced the vote of thanks. The programme was organised by students of Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School and devotees of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Dimapur.
