C-Cerp declares competition result

Aligned with the people as Green Consumers, Care-Centre for environment and rural poor (C-Cerp ) observed the 'Green Consumers Day' on September27 where the Green Heritage Club student members from Dimapur and Peren District participated in the celebration. Over 20 schools from Peren and Dimapur districts took part in drawing, poetry and essay writing competition on environment theme. Results of the essay competition: Arati Rana from G.M.S Sarbura, Kevisekono from St Francis School Medziphema, and Kevi Jakhalu from Little Star Hr. S.S secured first, second and third respectively from level I essay competition. Lanurenla from Bethesda Hr S.S, Seema Sharma from Bethesda Hr .S.S and Ramkuabambe from St. Xavier's Hr. S.S from Jalukie secured first, second and third in level II essay competition. Result on Painting: Nemhoikim from Pilgrim School, Yongkai from Bethesda Hr. S.S secured first, second and Wethsope from Bethesda Hr. S.S and Namgumpibo from St Xavier Hr. S.S Jalukie, both secured third in level I painting competition. Lungbuibo from St. Xavier's Hr. S.S Jalukie, Salangdangba from Pilgrim School and Thuankimlakpou from Little Star Hr. S.S secured first second and third in level II painting competition. Result on Poetry: Paudahungbe from Baptist School Jalukie, Manphe K.Phom from Little Star Hr S.S and Ningdei from Christian School Jalukie secured first second and third respectively in level I poetry competition. Ruvelu from ITMS Jalukie, Taulouthoi from L.M High School Jalukie and Vincinou Sekhose Little Star Hr. S.S Dimapur secured first second and third respectively in level II poetry competition. Programme coordinator, C- Cerp Dimapur informed that the first, second and third positions in all categories of competition would be awarded with certificates. Besides these awards the winners in the competition would be taken for 'nature's camp' in the month of November 2008.
