DC, Kohima, Sachopra Vero with KMC officials inspecting illegal dumping of soil below Naga Hospital Kohima.

With the much awaited annual Hornbill festival and the festive season fast approaching, a mass social work was conducted at state capital in various parts and colonies Saturday. People from all walks of life including different government departments took part in the social work, while various colonies members took active part in cleaning up their respective colonies. Government officials and KMC councilors supervised the social work. Meanwhile DC, Sachopra Vero and Chairman, Kohima Municipal Council, Vipopal Kintso has expressed profound gratitude to all the citizens of Kohima, officers and staff of various government departments for actively participating in the mass social work. He further appealed for support and cooperation with the district administration and the civic body, especially the business community and building owners to comply with the notifications and directives by the office of the DC, Kohima and the KMC.
