It's been a big fortnight for the two Obama girls - and now another offer is likely to get them jumping for joy.
Disney Channel's 'The Hannah Montana Show', one of the biggest children's show in the United States, has extended an invitation for 10-year-old Malia and 7-year-old Sasha to join the cast for an episode.
Billy Ray Cyrus, father of 'Hannah' star Miley Cyrus, told 'the Access Hollywood' show that the young daughters of President-elect Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, could appear on the show. 'The invitation is there,' he said, adding that any guest shots would take place next spring. 'Maybe something might happen around then,' he said.
When Billy Ray Cyrus was pressed for more information he said: 'I can't, I can't. I have got to keep a secret.' The Obama camp could not confirm any invitation, apart from a statement released Tuesday by the Disney Channel saying: 'We're pleased that Malia and Sasha are fans and, as long as their parents say it's OK, they are invited to the set of "Hannah. Montana" and all Disney Channel shows, for a guest role or a visit, anytime.' The Obamas take their place on the world stage as Barack delivers his address after winning the election
Obama has revealed in interviews that Malia is a big fan of 'Hannah Montana', but it remains to be seen whether they would want their daughters to take participate in the show - he limits media access to his daughters.
The show's star Miley told Access Hollywood that she did not know for certain if the offer had gone out, but she added: 'I think that would be really cool and if anything, have them visit the set.'
The good news comes in a fortnight where they've seen their father become elected the next President of the United States, found themselves preparing to move into the White House early next year - and be offered a new puppy.
