Nagamese film released

A Nagamese film "O Suko Pani Kile Giri Ase" was released here Monday at Hotel Saramati, organized by Wokha Kick Boxing Association (WKBA) with N. Jacob Yanthan SDO (Agri) Dimapur as chief guest. Addressing the function, Yanthan opined that Nagas should find alternative for employment in film industry, as it provides plenty of opportunity. "We should look to these avenues other than government sector, which is already exhausted," he said. He was of the view that in film industry "one need not be highly educated" to be employed and be successful. "Film should become a profession in Nagaland" and should sustain oneself, family and society," he said adding to achieve something in life, one has to have discipline. Chief guest also congratulated the production team and the cast members of the film for their wonderful input and efforts in producing the film. Anok Pongen DFI director, artist while delivering speech lauded the innovative ideas and requested each one to be inquisitive in knowing the fact about the film making. He further encouraged the pioneers of film industry in Nagaland. Others who spoke on the occasion included some well wishers, who expressed their views on the film and urged to acclaim the efforts put in by the pioneers instead of making fun of them. The main highlight of the programme was 'releasing of the film' by chief guest. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by film director, Akash who also highlighted a brief outline of the film.
