Karma Riders after the flagging off ceremony at AIDA compex, Firday Dimapur (NP)

Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Maongwati Aier Friday flagged off Karma Riders’ expedition in the city at AIDA complex, Nuton Basti. Aier acknowledged the German cyclists for cycling all the way to the state to spread positive messages and encourage the youngsters towards it. Dr. Stephen, vice president of Don Bosco Alumni briefed the riders on the landscape of Nagaland and urged them to take the message of love and good memories back to their country. Rev. Fr. Chakho, Parish Priest Holy Cross Church, Dimapur invoked God’s blessing upon the riders and the gathering. The Karma Riders accompanied by enthusiastic cyclists covered important areas including the Kachari ruins where they were briefed on the historical background of Dimapur and its areas. Briefing media persons at the Circuit House, Dimapur, Fr. John P. SDB informed that the Karma Riders after attending the Don Bosco Alumni annual day at AIDA complex on November 29 would proceed to Chumukedima. A felicitation programme is being arranged near Patkai junction where they would be received by the Rotaract club. The cycle expedition would be flagged off with a prayer by Mekhite Kenye, Pastor, Town Baptist Church Chumukedima.
