Kohima, which is often considered a death city by sunset, is back to life and buzzing at its zenith with people crowding the road and the night bazaar, turning Kohima into a totally different city. The area demarcated for the Night Bazaar between Old MLA Hostel junction and Razhu point is filled with full of life with people crowding the market enjoying eateries, marketing, free open entertainment such as open air music concert and dances. While, some family are taking out perhaps the first family outing and the other meeting friends over a cup of tea or coffee and enjoying the chilly evening breeze. Shops remained opened while the roadside open market starts at 4 pm onwards and remained till late in the evening following the onset of the Hornbill Festival. The roadside on the demarcated lane for the Night bazaar is crowded with all sorts of eateries and entertainment which the state capital had been deprived during any other time of the year.
