6 pol parties of 57 A/C unites

Workers of all political party including INC, BJP, RJD, JD(S) and two independent parties under 57th Thonoknyu assembly constituency in a consultative meet held November 26 at Thonoknyu town has resolved to fight next Lok Sabha elections collectively, for the interest of Thonoknyu. Organizing committee convenor, L Putse and secretary, T Cheye in a joint statement said meeting also took into consideration the lack of development despite having an MLA in the ruling state government for the last six years. “The members in the meeting brought up the resentments of the public, particularly for totally neglecting the only main route connecting Tuensang and Thonoknyu i.e., Waphur to Thonoknyu,” the statement asserted. It further stated the road was out of use and the public were suffering, paying heavily for using alternative route. The consultative meeting ended with a positive note to give substantive impact in Thonkonyu politics in future by taking up common cause of the people through the united platform by coming together of six different political parties, conveyed the release.
