Political parties for wider consultation

In pursuance of the decision taken during the second consultative meeting of all political parties on 33% Women Reservation Bill on November 25, speaker Kiyanilie Peseyie has constituted an All Political Parties Consultative Committee (APPCC) for wider consultation with various sections of the Naga society and to examine its applicability to the state of Nagaland. The APPCC consisted of deputy speaker Ralanthung Yanthan as convener and minister Dr. Shurhozelie, leader of opposition M.C Konyak, minister Ngangshi Ao, minister Chumben Murry, MLA K.L Chishi, working president BSP Kaijon Zeliang, president RJD Khetovi Kinny, president Samajwadi party Akhei Achumi and secretary general JD(U) Mhonjan Lotha as members. Further, convener of the committee and deputy speaker NLA Ralanthung Yanthan has convened a preliminary meeting of APPCC on December 12,11am at the committee room, assembly secretariat. All committee members have been requested to attend the meeting.
