White Lion set to rock Nagaland

Nagaland is all set to witness one of the biggest live rock concerts ever to occur in the state, when Reliance Mobile would present Live one of the internationally acclaimed band 'White Lion' on stage December 16 afternoon at Dimapur District Sports Centre (DDSC) stadium starting 2.30 p.m. As the count down begins, organizers -Reliance Mobile Saturday organized road show in the state capital, by distributing free posters and T-Shirts of White Lion and sweets at old NST. The American/Danish is also likely to be accorded as the state guest during their visit to the state. The show which was organized in aid of the Hearing Impaired would also feature local bands including XTC and Native Rising. The organizers have informed that tickets would be available in all the Reliance outlets in Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland. Tickets are available at - in DIMAPUR - Encore, The Celler, K-Lounge, Café Destination and C.M Bazar 4th Mile, in KOHIMA -M.Solo Eng. BSNL Franchise (P.R.Hill), Big Bite (Jail Colony), Solo Enterprise (High School Junction), Senorita (1st Floor MK Market), in Mokokchung - Lovely Centre and Greeting Graft, Police Point, ZUHEBOT - H.K.Y Provision, project colony and H.K Decora opp.SBI project colony. "White Lion" is an American/Danish glam metal band formed in New York City in 1983 by Danish vocalist Mike Tramp and American guitarist Vito Bratta. Mainly active in the 1980s and early 1990s, the band achieved double platinum status, with their #3 hit "When the Children Cry". White Lion was disbanded in 1991, but was reformed again by founder Mike Tramp in 1999 with all new musicians. Presently, the band member includes Mike Tramp (vocals and songwriter), Jamie Law (guitars and songwriter), Claus Langerskov (bass guitar), Troy Patrick Farrell (drums) and Henning Wanner (Keyboards). The concert is being presented by the Reliance Mobile and co-sponsored by Vivel and Star Cement in association with Nagaland Post as Media Partner, Space M, Maria Gold Tea, Rattle and Hum, Pheto Music Associate, Unitex, NIIT Dimapur, Music ground, Home Max, while the event is being organized and managed by Finishing Touches - event factory.
