While thanking 'White Lion' for being gracious enough to entertain music lovers here during the festive season, the organizers also expressed gratitude to district administration, police, various NGOs and public leaders for their cooperation to ensure smooth conduct of the show. With the countdown for the show less than three weeks away, sales of tickets will kick off Wednesday (Nov 26) and ticket outlets will be set up in almost all districts. The organizers are expecting a record turn out of at least 30,000 audiences. The curtain raiser for the show will be local bands XTC and Native Rising. It may be mentioned 'White Lion' rocketed to fame and achieved double platinum status with their hit single 'When the children cry' and their other hits include 'Till death do us part', 'You're all I need', 'Broken heart', 'Leave me alone' and 'Cry for freedom.' For the band, this will also be their first show in India.
