1 held for luring minor

In a delayed report, a 24 year old person was apprehended by RPF personnel on charge of abduction of a minor girl (Naga), police said Wednesday. According to women’s cell, the accused Imrajul Hussain a vegetable vendor and presently residing at Super Market, Dimapur forcibly took the minor who was 13 years old on the pretext of "sight seeing" at his village Bondorati, Naogoan on Friday. The accused was later arrested by the RPF personnel at Lumding on that day after he was seen with the minor. The minor was rescued and handed over to her parents residing at Dimapur, while the accused, a married man was handed over to women’s cell, Dimapur Saturday, police said. The arrested person was booked under section 363, 419 and 366 on abduction case.
