SH, KH to settle case outside the court

Sumi Hoho (SH) and Kyong Hoho (KH) have decided to agree to the demands sought by Philimi village council (PVC) in connection with the incident on November 28 where Lusheto Shohe son of Dokhuvi Shohe of Philimi village was killed. Both the Hohos have agreed to solve the case outside the court, to impose fine upon the villagers of Mungya village for hunting on the prohibited areas. During a joint meeting held between SH and KH on November 29 at church rest house Philimi village, the two tribal bodies also resolved to impose fine on Mungya village council for its non- compliance to the PVC council According to a release issued by president SH, Hokishe Yepthomi and chairman KH, Yansathung Jami, the meeting also decided to impose fine upon Renben Ngullie son of Samuel Ngullie of Mengya village for killing Lusheto Shohe son of Dokhuvi Shohe of Philimi village. Both the Hoho's have notified villages not to cross their jurisdiction for hunting purposes and also resolved to impose fine of Rs. 25,000/-. Further, both the tribal bodies have expressed gratitude to head GB and elders of Philimi village, district administration and police department of Zunheboto and Wokha for their intervention in controlling the situation from getting worse.
