Governor, CM in New Delhi

Nagaland state official delegation led by governor, Sankaranarayanan and chief minister, Neiphiu Rio has left for Delhi to attend the North Eastern Council (NEC) Annual Plan review meeting scheduled to be held from January 7. The official delegation which included planning minister T.R.Zeliang; deputy chairman state planning board Neiba Kronu; chief Secretary Lalhuma; development commissioner, Alemtemshi Jamir and deputy development commissioner reached Delhi today. Talking to Nagaland Post over phone from Delhi, Zeliang said that the delegation was working out on the presentation to be made by the State during the meeting. The meeting is also supposed to deliberate on the various recommendations made by the Task Force constituted by the NEC earlier and also on the implementation of the Vision 2020. The state delegation is likely to return on January 8 after the NEC meet. (Correspondent)
