SRPUD retreat prog DIMAPUR: Satoi Range Public Union Dimapur (SRPUD) would conduct one-day retreat programme January 17, 8 a.m. at Nuton Basti, Sunday School Church with Global Watch Prayer Ministry, director, Kakheli I Zhimomi as main speaker. SRPUD president, Phukato Zhimomi in press note has informed all Satoi range public, living in and around Dimapur, to attend the programme. Healing crusade KOHIMA: A three-day 'healing crusade' would be held from January 15 to 17 daily 3 pm at New Market, Kohima. The 'healing crusade' is organized by Joshua Cell, New Market, Kohima on the theme "but seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto" (Mathew 6: 33). Prayer for sick people like HIV, AIDS, cancer and any kind of sickness would be held. NU degree exam DIMAPUR: Nagaland University has declared routine for three year integrated degree course-BA, B.Com and B.Sc first, second and third year (honors and general) examination 2009. The examination would commence February 10 to March 5. Exam would start from 9 a.m to 12 noon and from 1p.m to 4 p.m. Clarification DIMAPUR: Diphupar police has clarified the news item that appeared in a local daily under the caption "Body recovered" on January 10. Diphupar police has said the unidentified body was found under the jurisdiction of Diphupar 'B' and not from Sovima village as reported. Diphupar police, while clarifying the news item said the 'error' was made due to a confusion on 'demarcation' of the area. ACYA convention from Jan 16 KOHIMA: The 28th general convention of Angami Catholic Youth Association would be held from January 16 to 18 at Christ King Church, Kohima village on the theme "I can do everything through him who gives me strength" The main celebrants for the convention would be Rt. Rev. Dr. Jose Mukala, D.D, Bishop of Kohima and Rev. Fr. PM Joseph, Parish Priest, Christ King Church, Kohima village. Speakers for the convention would be Vikepelhou Lucas, Rev. Sr. Medokuonuo Margaret and Rev. Fr. Dr. Visosie-o Solomon. Each participant would be charged a registration fee of Rs.60 per head. All villages have been requested to submit a flag. JVSA golden jubilee meet KOHIMA: A three-day golden jubilee of Jakhama Village Sports Association (JVSA) on the theme 'unite excel conquer' would be held from January 13 to 15 at Jakahma village ground. The inaugural function would be graced by minister, health and family welfare Kuzholuzo Nienu as chief guest and Chief Engineer PWD National Highway Nagaland Er. Dr.Vikuotuolie Angami as guest of honour for valedictory function.
