WAN for national championship Dimapur, Dec 23 (NPN): A seven member, of WUSHU Association of Nagaland (WAN) will be taking part in the 8th Sub-Junior National Championship (boys and girls) WUSHU championship, which will be held from December 31 to January 5, at Rajajipuram stadium, Lucknow UP. The team will be accompanied by D.P. Gabriel Khano WAN coach. ZMT trophy Dimapur, Dec 23 (NPN): 25th edition of Vihokhu Memorial Trophy (VMT) organized by Kuhuboto Ghakhu Sports Association (KGSA) would commence from January 19 to 24 at Kuhuboto town. In this regard the organizers has informed all the participating teams to bring two flags, two football and two volleyballs to the tournament. It may be mentioned that the KGSA is also celebrating its silver jubilee for which the organizers has urged the participants to take part in the true spirit. The teams for the football: Group-A: Nihoto, Vihokhu-A, Nizhevi, Kuhuboto, Khehokhu Group-B: Xelozhe, S. Hotovi, Luzheto, Henivi, Ghokito Group-C: Lotovi, Tokugha, Suhoi, Showuba Group-D: Pukhato, Khughovi, Xekiye, Vihokhu-B Kasha Daho tourney Dimapur, Dec 23 (NPN): The 3rd Kasha Daho Volleyball Tournament (inter club) for both boys and girls organized by Kasha Daho Sports Committee will be held from December 29 at Terogunyu village. According to the association the inaugural function will be graced by Hilo Kent chairperson Tseminyu Town Council as chief guest. SASA sports meet Kohima, DEC 23 (NPN): A three day, 48th Southern Angami free style and sports meet 2008 for men and women organized by the Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA) will commence from January 21 to23 at Jakhama village ground, Jakhama. Minister for Roads and Bridges, Kaito Aye, will grace the inaugural function as chief guest, while advisor, ITTE and chairman of Development Authority of Nagaland, Vikho-o Yhoshü will be the guest of honour. Jakhama Youth Society will host the meet.
