Condemnation notes

LVC, LSU: Longtoker Village Council (LVC) and Longtoker Students Union (LSU) has strongly condemned the notorious act of Constable Mukheba Yim Longtoker who decamped with 3 sten carbines along with three magazines and 220 rounds of ammunition on January 17. Council chairman, A. Thongrun in a press note stated that the joint body appealed to every organization not to entertain him but to report his whereabouts to appropriate authority. DDPODU: The Dimapur District Pick up Van Owner's and Drivers' Union (DDPODU) has condemned the incident on January 19 at Naga Hospital, Kohima, where unidentified four locals intervened a taxi and robbed of belongings of the passengers and driver including mobile set and cash. The president of the union, Tongpang, in a press release stated the passengers and the driver were warned not to disclose the incident to anyone including the police, posing a threat to the occupants of the vehicle. The union also made a request to public and businessmen to be aware of such 'extortionist'. PVC: Pholami Village Council (PVC) has condemned the killing of six AR personnel including a JCO by Sheneyi Medeo, son of Yesupra of Pholami village, Phek, of 17 Assam Rifle and who is also absconding, on Jnaury 21 at Awang Kasom village, Ukhrul, Manipur. Condemning the incident, the PVC in a press release issued by its chairman, Kuzoveyi Kezo, has appealed organizations or individuals not to harbour the culprit at the same time appealed Sheneyi to surrender along with the weapons to the nearest army post.
