NSUI tours Mumbai, Goa

National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Nagaland state executives from January 10 to 24 undertook study tour-cum-excursion to Mumbai and Goa on the theme “One country, one people”. The excursion sponsored by 26 Assam Rifles, firstly visited Goa and toured various historical places and tourist spots. The group also visited NCC office, Goa where they had interaction and photo session with C.O. Col. F.B. Patel and staff, a release issued by NSUI (Nagaland) president, Hitilo Tep stated. In Mumbai, the team visited many important places and called on Maharastra governor, Dr. S.C. Jamir and had interaction and photo session. The governor advised touring students to take initiative in eradicating social evils in the society. NSUI state executives has expressed gratitude to all individuals for their extending financial and moral support, especially NPCC president, K. V. Pusa for allowing NSUI to go on study tour. It has also thanked Dr. S.C. Jamir for hosting the touring party during their stay in Mumbai and also giving financial assistance towards. Union has also expressed gratitude to MLAs and party leaders for extending financial assistance and moral support. Further, it has thanked C.O 26th Assam Rifles Col. G. Ganguly and all ranks for sponsoring the study tour.
