Nagaland Board of School Education chairman Nini Meru Wednesday encouraged the students of Patkai School Chumukedima to make a difference and be the difference.
Speaking as chief guest at the celebration of Patkai School silver jubilee at Bundrock memorial auditorium, Patkai Christian College, Nini Meru exhorted students to be different for the Lord and making a change by offering their services for the Lord. She also stressed on the importance of hard work, saying that prayers were necessary but at the same time one needed to put in equal amount of effort to achieve success.
Founder Patkai ministries and principal emeritus Patkai Christian College Reverend Dr T.A. Shishak and principal of Patkai Christian college Reverend Judson Rungsung were the guests of honor.

The programme started with lighting of jubilee candles, invocation was delivered by vice-principal, PCC Kolezo Chase, welcome address was proposed by headmaster, Patkai school Henry Kashung. A short exhortation on 'recalling the past' was also presented by an alumnus and history lecturer PCC Visazo Chase where he nostalgically recollected his school days and the teachers who taught him.
Some of the highlights of the programme included songs presented by school choir, students and alumni of Patkai school, choreography by Patkai school senior students.
There was also recognition of service for the first batch of pupils by the headmaster. Programme ended with the benediction by chaplain PCC Vichükho Neikha.
