Maintaining that it was facing “untold hardships” due to the deaf ear turned towards their repeated appeals for release of the pending bills by the state government, the Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU) has once again renewed its appeal for early release of the same to its registered members only. NCSU president, Pele Khezhie and secretary, N. Neilo Koza in a statement said that the pending bills amounted to Rs. 12, 21, 80, 814 (Rupees Twelve Crores Twentyone Lakhs Eighty Thousand Eight Hundred and Fourteen) that included Rs 4, 08, 84, 814 from the PHED. The NCSU requested the higher authority to look into the matter seriously before it was “too late” and warned that it would not be held responsible for any consequences with regard to this issue.
