IGAR (N) major general Jai Prakash Nehra Thursday inaugurated newly constructed building of 7 Dental Unit Assam Rifles (DUAR) at Tuensang. The dental unit has been in service at Tuensang with its mobile dental van since April 2003 and then from a temporary shelter since November 2004.
According to a defense release 7 DUAR has done “praiseworthy” service to provide effective oral health care facilities and ensure proper oral hygiene of not only Assam Rifles personnel but also to deprived civil population and CPMFs in northern Nagaland.
Addressing the inaugural function, major general Nehra complimented brigadier PK Singh, and captain Rajashekhar D Gadad, for his dedicated service. He also appealed troops and civil population to make maximum use of the facility.

Meanwhile, IGAR (N) visited Tuensang headquarters and briefed about administrative aspects and functioning of the headquarters and under command units. Before his departure to Kohima, IGAR (N) had an interactive session with all officers.
