At the fourth day of "Restore Nagaland for Christ crusade program", Dimapur deputy commissioner, Moangwati Aier on Saturday said the slogan 'Nagaland for Christ' which was coined more than three decades has "died off".
"There is no Christ in Nagaland anymore" he lamented, adding Nagaland being a strategic place, if the state really becomes 'Nagaland for Christ', then Nagas could go to all parts of India and evangelize.
DC calling upon the people to recommit themselves and make Nagaland for Christ said when that happens there would be peace in the state.
"We are a restless generation, but if we take a step forward towards God then He will give us rest," he said.
Moangwati Aier urging the people to maintain integrity as Christians asserted that "we have to be different from the worldly people because we are people of integrity."
Earlier, the programme started with scripture reading and prayer by pastor, Pentecostal church Elwood, a short speech by pastor neighborhood church reverend S.Daniel Shayam. He also encouraged the gathering to come together in unity for the Lord. A special song was presented by Servanthood bible college.
The last day of the crusade would be held on February 7 at city tower with director NCRC mission centre, Dimapur reverend Vevozo Khamo as the speaker.
