KSON delegate conference ends

A three-day Kuki Students' Organisation Nagaland (KSON) delegate conference held at Maova village, Medziphema culminated January 11 with MLA of Saikul A/C, Pu. Doukhomang and ADC Medziphema, Pu.S Doungel as chief guest and guest of honour respectively of the second day celebration and MLA of Henglwp, Pu. Manga Vaiphei and minister for Manipur tribal development corporation, Pu Asat Doungel as chief guest and guest of honour respectively of the closing function. Organisation general secretary, Paominkai Limsong in a release said the guests in their respective speech encouraged delegates to give more importance towards education, as education was the only way in which one could fulfill dreams and objectives. They also said that to bring changes within their community one need to equip themselves with current education system, adding education was the only means of bringing all round development. According to the release 'KSON Nite', which was held January 11, was attended by Miss Nagaland 2008, Abin Haokip who cheer-up the crowd with her melodious voice. Besides special song was presented by various artists and bands at the function, it added. Meanwhile, KSON has expressed gratitude to chief guests for their material help and moral support towards the organisation. It has also extended thanks to host villagers, Abin Haokip and all other invited artists. Further, it has expressed appreciation to 42 AR officer, Lt. Col. Anup Singh for their material help.
