NATA Lauds

Nagaland Amateur Teakwon-Do Association (NATA) has applauded Sanjay Chetri for winning bronze medal and Deep Kumar of Dimapur District Taekwon-do Association for being awarded International referee in sparring and patterns (Kyorugi and Poomsae) through International merit certification in the recently concluded India’s biggest open taekwon-do games 2009 held at Dr. D.Y.Patil sports stadium, Nerul, Navi Mumbai on Jan 9 till Jan 11. Ghonito Sumi in a press release said that the games was one of the biggest International taekwon-do event organized in India on individual sparring, individual patterns, pair patterns and group demonstration competitions of its kind. The competition also saw about 2000 participants from India as well as from South Korea, Iran and Nepal with high level overseas delegations, which include grand masters, masters, international referees, world Poomsae champions and K-tigers.
