EUUN organizes seminar on ‘organic farming’

: One-day seminar on “Organic Farming” organized by Educated Unemployed Union Nagaland (EUUN) and sponsored by department of horticulture was held February 20 at State Horticulture Nursery (SHN), Green Park, 5th Mile, Dimapur with Dr. Anamika Sharma, KVK (ICAR), Jharnapani as resource person. According to a release issued by, EUNN Wilson Kent, the resource person Dr. Anamika emphasized on organic framing to the farmers of Dhansiripar including Bade villagers and Niuland area farmers. The release stated that about 40 to 50 farmers attended the seminar. Eight types of vegetable cash crop and kitchen crops were distributed by horticulture department to all the participants, the added. Earlier, founder president of the EUUN, Dr. Rev. Khashito Aye pronounced the invocation while Dimapur DHO, Eyongol Natso exhorted the trainers. Meanwhile, EUUN has expressed gratitude to horticulture department, mission director, Banjon Aier and staff, DHO Dimapur and staff for extending support to make the seminar a success. It has also thanked Bothra Sweets, Bhobinala Dimapur for providing breakfast package for the session.
