Rongsenkala’s "Distant Rumblings” nominated for ‘FulMarxx Shorts Film Fest 2.0’

Nagaland based film maker Rongsenkala (Aka) short film titled “Distant Rumblings" has been nominated for ‘FulMarxx Shorts Film Fest 2.0’, India's largest short film festival. After the stupendous success of the first edition, FullMarxx is back with ‘FullMarxx Shorts Fest (FSF) 2.0’. The second edition promises to be a magnificent extravaganza wherein films of more than 1,000 short film makers will be judged, reviewed by an esteemed jury panel including Bollywood bigwigs and famous faces from the motion picture industry. The festival will award best live action short film, best documentary, best animation and mobile film. The grand prize for the "India's Best Short Film maker" will be a feature film contract from FullMarxx Motion Pictures, the upstart production house of FullMarxx. Synopsis of the film "Distant Rumblings": World War II: The most destructive event in human history was fought on multiple fronts. North-East India has become the ultimate battle ground on Indo-Burma front, where the Japanese faced staunchest stand of the Allied Forces. The War left its indelible mark in the landmass and after 60 years, the same place was revisited on a fact-finding mission. A few lines from the film maker: “I am very much thrilled, excited & honored to be a part of ‘FullMarxx Shorts Fest 2.0’” Each year, numerous short films are made in India. The passion, the effort and the toil that goes into making a film is incredulous. But still these short tilll1s and filmmakers hardly get the recognition and honor they deserve. FSF 2.0, India’s first ever people’s choice short film award promises short filmmakers a never before platform to showcase their work. Initially established as an exclusive short films company, FullMarxx has its wings spread across motion pictures, entertainment marketing, short films and film festivals with robust worldwide distribution capabilities. The first edition of ‘FulMarxx Shorts Fest’ supported by ADLABS had seen 189 entries, including 63 international entries in 16 languages from 18 countries.
