Dreamz Unlimited, a theater society of Nagaland represented Nagaland at Delhi in “Romancing India’s North-East” on February 28 and March 1, sponsored by Ministry of DoNER.
Their Nagamese English play “Technicolor Dreams” directed by Rabijita Gogoi of Assam, reflected on the present socio - economic and political context of Naga society, and was staged in Akshara Theater, New Delhi.
The Delhiites were charmed by the essence of Naga Society, and felt the touch of Naga culture as well as the issues faced by the Nagas. Dreamz Unlimited team also got the privilege to be interviewed by
CNN - IBN and also did a documentary shooting for their Director, Rabijita Gogoi.
Meanwhile, the team expressed gratitude to NEZCC for always coming forward to help and encourage promoting theatre in Nagaland.
It may also be mentioned that Dreamz Unlimited performed in Mumbai Octave festival and Gangtok in Poorvatar Natya Samaroh during the month of November. Dreamz Unlimited would be performing in Agartala on March 27 and 28.
