NPF central team visits Dmu

NPF central team led by working president, Apong Pongener February 10 visited Dimapur and held a meeting with NPF Dimapur division office bearers, division women wing and youth wing, all five A/C presidents and office bearers, all five A/C women wing and youth wing at division office. The meeting attended by more than 150 party workers deliberated on various issues, NPF division vice president (media cell), Timir Choudhury stated in a press release. NPF working president pointing out that the performance of the party was not satisfactory in the last general election exhorted party workers to work hard. The visiting team also advised divisional workers that it was right time to make amends for their past lacunae by performing well in the ensuing Lok Sabha election. NPF farmers’ union president, Lanukaba speaking at the meet informed that agriculture sector plays a major role in economic survival of the Naga society, adding NPF was doing its best to promote agriculture. Further, he pointed the party would not neglect district farmers but would do its best so that benefit goes to rightful individuals. The central team visit, which is a state wide tour, was moral boosting for the division as their visit was first time after the new team of office bearers took over under K Shilu Sangtam as president.
