PREPAK warns Ibobi to check “state terrorism”

The banned People Revolutionary Army of Kangleipak (PREPAK) on Thursday warned Manipur chief minister O Ibobi Singh to immediately stop the alleged “state terrorism” meted out by security forces to people of the state. In a statement signed by its publicity secretary in-charge Aheiba Angom dispatched by the outfit to media houses in Imphal Thursday announced the lists of 143 persons belonging to the Congress including its MLAs, workers and their close associates which they would hit if the chief minister failed to check “state terrorism”. The statement further warned CPI, partner of SPF government in the state to be ‘careful as they may also be targeted if they continue to associate with Congress.’ The statement asked Ibobi to ‘stop the police commandos killing innocent people alleging that they have been killing innocent people in the name of counter insurgency operations in the state joining hand with the Central security forces.’
