Kohima SP informs DIMAPUR: Kohima superintendent of police has informed all intending candidates of Kohima district (Angami and Rengma), for recruitment to the post of woman constable (GD) in 1st Mahila (IR) battalion to contact RO (estt) branch, SP office Kohima for further details and information. GPRN/NSCN ‘recovers’ auto-rickshaw DIMAPUR: GPRN/NSCN has informed that it has recovered one lost auto-rickshaw bearing no. NL-O7-F/1335 and has been kept at designated camp, Khehoi. GPRN/NSCN publicity cell in a press release has informed the rightful owner to contact CHQ camp commander, Naga army, designated camp Khehoi and claim the vehicle within seven days. ENPO condemns firing incident DIMAPUR: Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization (ENPO) has condemned the firing incident between NSCN (IM), NSCN and FGN at Tamlu village on February 6. ENPO president, Y. Mangko Phom in a release has asked the warring factions to responsibly abide the resolution adopted on December 18, 2007 at Tuensang. It has also directed whichever faction started the ‘irresponsible firing’ that created fear psychosis in the minds of the public to ‘come clean’. Dmu NPF youth wing new office bearers DIMAPUR: NPF youth wing Dimapur division has appointed a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2009 to 2011 with Kuhovi K. DMC informs market allotees DIMAPUR: Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed all market allotees at its ‘millennium market’ to take necessary power service connections in their respective stalls and shops from power department at their own expense. ENSF conference DIMAPUR: The second Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) would be hosted by Konyak Students’ union (KSU) in the month of May this year. The KSU in a press release issued by its information, organizing and publicity secretary, Stella Elang Konyak, has extended gratitude to president, ENSF, Y.P Chillio, and his team for their visit and thanked BDO, Mon, Yollow, for donating 30 plastic chairs .Union further thanked M/S gas agency, Mon, for donating gas cylinder to the union. GPRN/NSCN discharges 1 DIMAPUR: GPRN/NSCN has discharged one ‘Sgt. Maj.’ Asuthong son of Ahukiu of Medongre village under Tisary region from ‘Naga Army’ owing to family problem. CVBC celebrates golden jubilee DIMAPUR: Chekiye Village Baptist Church (CVBC) celebrated its golden jubilee on February 10 and 11 on the theme ‘In Him We Live’ with Dr. Katovi Zhimo, Rev. S.Vitoshe Swü and Reverend Dr. Hevukhu Achumi as speakers. WSBAK executive secretary, Rev. S.Vitoshe Swü dedicated the jubilee monolith on February 11, commemorating the 50 years of the church. CVBC jubilee planning board in a release has extended gratitude to all individuals, jubilee committees, speakers, delegates, invitees and in-law (amakishimi) for their presence in the celebration and their contribution in cash and kind. Cleanliness drive in Mkg DIMAPUR: Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Bengdangkokba has entrusted committee including SDO (C) as convenor, senior town planner, inspector MMC, general secretary Ao Senden, and president GBs Union to check cleanliness drive year round in all the wards in Mokokchung with immediate effect. According to an official report the judges would inspect the ward basing on maintenance of cleanliness of respective courtyards, premises, respective community hall. Lost and found An admit card belonging to Nikavi Chishi, of BA II year (philosophy) Roll number A08241290, bearing registration number 31045884 was found. The rightful owner has been informed to collect it from Suburban Police Station, Dimapur.
