Valentine ’s Day special programme with Dimapur Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS (DNP+) was organized on February 13 at its office premises.
According to a press release issued by the president of the network, purpose of the programme was to motivate the ‘positive friends’ that “being positive life does not end, but there is a blessed life beyond HIV/AIDS.
The programme was chaired by Garland Achumi, who continued to explain why February 14 is being celebrated every year at the same time elaborated that ‘feelings’ should be expressed which she termed was the best medicine to keep people healthy and loved.
Sharing of experiences in individual’s life by DNP+ president and general secretary was also part of the programme where they stated that life was different in the beginning before marriage; no further plan and no hope but added that after marriage they have hopes, love and dreams.
The participants has also responded that they had never experienced the kind of programme and did not had the knowledge why valentine’s day is being celebrated and further thanked DNP+ for the ‘meaningful’ programme which they have experienced for the first time.
Altogether more than 20 members participated.
Meanwhile, DNP+ has greeted Indian Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS (INP+), Naga Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (NNP+), Population Foundation of India (PFI) and all its members a ‘Happy Valentines Day’.
