Paintings to raise fund for blind, orphan

The opportunity foundation of Amway India Enterprises on Saturday conducted ‘Nanhe Chitrakaar’, a national children painting competition, here at Amway office, Kohima. The painting competition was organized to raise funds for blind and orphan students in seven states of North East India. Altogether, 53 young boys and girls participated in the competition, out of which eleven participated from Kohima Orphanage Home. In the 5-8 years category, Külüngolu bagged the first prize, followed by B. Tsoiniu and B. Sujang in the second and third positions respectively. Kuveyiezo won the first prize in the 9-12 years category, while Lushian got the second prize and Sumi Sarkar the third prize. The winners were awarded trophies with winning certificates, while all participants for participatory certificates. The best paintings would compete for national level competition.
