Children’s convention held in Kohima village

A first of its kind two day children’s convention of Northern Angami Christian Revival Children Ministry was conducted on February 14 and 15 at Christian Revival Church, Kohima village. Over 700 children from 21 churches under NACRCM attended the camping and conference programme. Inaugural was held on February 14 which was marked by hoisting of flags of churches and games followed by a special service. Sunday service, special songs and choreography were presented by children of various churches. The message was delivered by Nini Sekhose, renowned speaker, who expounded on innocence as one of the best virtues of a child. Quoting on several illustrations with slides and examples, Sekhose exhorted the children on importance of respecting and honouring elders as it would reap huge rewards. Meanwhile, after the service, the children were taken for an outing at Kohima War cemetery where an open quiz competition was also organised.
