Drawing attention to the news item “2 PULF activists held” that appeared in the local dailies on February 18 where it was reported that entry pass form of GPRN Kilo Affairs was recovered from the activists, the GPRN/NSCN Wednesday denied any connection with any outfit whatsoever. It said the Civil or Military authorities at designated camp, Khehoi at no point of time had sheltered any outfit. The disclosure “about the non-existent number of arms and men” was a ploy to gain mileage or an attempt to sabotage ceasefire agreement which was in force, the GPRN/NSCN said. “The option of offering or seeking logistic support to or from other organizations and nations is, however, not ruled out in future should the Government of India fail to recognize the historical and political right of the Naga people”, the release added.
