ESSU: Eastern Sumi Students’ Union (ESSU) has expressed gratitude to NPF led DAN government for retrieving the office of treasury to Aghunato Town which was temporarily shifted to Zunheboto Town. In an appreciation note issued by union general secretary, Inahoto Assumi also stated that the shifting of the office would bring economic development, availability of goods and services and hence would bring about prominent positive changes in the status and social structure of the area.
WTC: Wokha Town Council (WTC) has appreciated the civil administration and the fire brigade, Wokha for their timely action in defusing the inferno in and around Wokha town.
The WTC office superintendent, P.D. Yanthan in a press release expressed gratitude to the public for their help and support in defusing and controlling the fire.
SFU: Small Farmer Union (SFU) Thsotoko village has expressed gratitude to chief minister, Neiphiu Rio and his colleagues for inaugurating Sotokur EAC headquarters on February 28.
Through a release, union stated that the inauguration of Sotokur as an EAC headquarter showed the genuine concern of Rio for the eastern Nagas. The union further expressed hope that the inauguration would be a stepping stone to large development in the area.
NPF: NPF Tuensang division has expressed gratitude to state CM Neiphiu Rio, party president Dr.Shürhozelie and all DAN coalition partners for selecting vice president NPF C.M Chang IAS (Rtd) as the candidate for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Tuensang division has also welcomed NCP Tuensang Sadar-II A/C and Tuensang Sadar-II ACCI who have resigned enbloc led by Rakhila to join NPF.
VEC, KVC: The Village Education Committee (VEC) and Government Middle School Khekiho village and Khekiho Village Council (KVC) have jointly expressed its appreciation to DIS, Dimapur, Kekosie Angami, for gracing the up-gradation of government middle school and inauguration of its new school building as chief guest on March 10.
Head GB and chairman, VEC, of the village, H. Kughaho Zhimomi and Khatovi Ayemi, in a press release have also thanked the education department for the up-gradation of the school which would be helpful not only for the villagers but to the students of Khekiho and its neighbouring villages for achieving quality education for their future.
