Government Primary School, Ao sector-Diphupar received two rooms extension under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) scheme for the year 2007-08.
According to an official bulletin, during the inaugural programme ADC, Dimapur Sedevikho Khro, also the chairman of the Block Level Committee for Kushiabill area, expressed happiness and congratulated the Village Education Committee for executing the construction satisfactorily for the benefit of the students as well as the community of the area.
He also appealed for better coordination between teachers, students and parents for imparting proper education to the young children, and said that with the introduction of SSA schemes responsibility has been shifted to the Village Education Committee to bring quality education and he urged the teaching faculty to utilize the two-room extension to the fullest for the benefit of the students.
The two-room extension was constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.6 lakhs. Another two rooms are to be extended in the next phase. Construction report and vote of thanks were delivered by Chairman V.E.C Talinokcha.
