Officials of both the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) and the state police which are investigating into the NPSC answer script swapping scam continue to receive threat and intimidation from anonymous callers and armed miscreants. According to a reliable source, a sitting member of the NPSC reportedly had some armed miscreant visitors at his residence sometime last week in his absence. Police, when contacted admitted to have received such information but at the same time said that no official complaint had been lodged. However, police has taken serious note of the incident and necessary measures have been initiated. On the other hand, Police officials of the North Police Station involved in the investigation too had been reportedly receiving threatening and intimidating calls from anonymous callers. It may be mentioned that altogether, 13 persons including two staffs of the NPSC and 11 candidates has been arrested in the NPSC answer script swapping scam. Even as the investigation continues, sources also disclosed that the state police was likely to take the arrested accused outside the state for various tests including Polygraph test, Narco-analysis test and Lie detection test very soon.
