The NSF has threatened to take its own course action if the state government legislates the length of service beyond 33 years without consulting the federation. Reminding that the NSF and state government signed an MoU in 1991 agreeing that all state government employees would retire after completing 33 years in service or attaining 57 years of age whichever is earlier, NSF speaker Cusayi Lohe in a release said the issue was not negotiable and very dear to the federation. He also expressed shock over the news report that the NSF president nullified speaker’s order dissolving the federation.
