DC Mokokchung to grace exhibition match Dimapur, Mar 9 (NPN): Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Bendangkokba will graced the Under -14 exhibition cricket match between Mokokchung District Cricket Association (MDCA) XI and Dimapur District Cricket Association (DDCA) XI on March 10, at 9 am, at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung. According to official bulletin, president Mokokchung District Cricket Association (MDCA) Temjen Paul will deliver the welcome address while convenor Cricket Development Board of Nagaland, A. Rahaman the visiting Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) official will address the gathering. Taekwon-do coaching camp in Dimapur Dimapur, Mar 9 (NPN): Nagaland Taekwon-do Federation (ITF) is organizing a three days coaching camp from April 5 to 8 at Dimapur. According to spokesman NTF Otoka H. Yeptho, International Instructor and Examiner and Chairman Referee Committee (TAI), master N.S. Rawat from New Delhi will supervise the coaching camp. “This coaching camp is focused on advanced techniques in order to cope with International standard in the field of patterns, sparring, special techniques and advance physical exercises”, the release said. Meanwhile, Israel G. Xuivi 4th dan, Technical Director (NTF) has informed the interested students from all districts to contact their respective instructor(s) for further details at the earliest. KSU Martyrs’ trophy in April Dimapur, Mar 9 (NPN): 10th edition of Kyong Students’ Union (KSU) Martyrs’ Trophy 2009 will be held in the month of April at Wokha. According to KSU the tournament will be held in commemoration of late Chumdamo and late Thungkhomo Lotha. The tournament will be played in the disciplines of football (boys); volleyball (boys); basketball (girls) and marathon race (boys and girls). Cash prizes and trophy along with certificates and individual prizes will be awarded in all the events, the release said. In this regard, interested individual/club/team/organization are informed to collect the form at the KSU office/upper crest complex and for information interested parties are informed to contact KSU games and sports secretary, N.Amos Humtsoe (9436809657/9863224040).
