Dimapur, Mar 12 (NPN): In view of the forthcoming XXIII NCA Inter District Cricket Tournament, the Zunheboto District Cricket Association (ZDCA) will conduct net practice session cum selection trails for senior district teams. ZDCA has informed all sub divisions under Zunheboto to send two representatives. The ZDCA stated that players should report to the session on or before March 17 along with three passport sized photographs and brief bio data to the general secretary of ZDCA. The ZDCA also appreciated NCA for bagging the runner up trophy and highest individual laurel (man of the series) at the 1st North East Inter State T20 Championship held at Shillong. Interested clubs, individuals (registered/unregistered) have been invited to attend the session. New dates for the 34th National Games Dimapur, Mar 12 (NPN): The 34th National Games which was supposed to be held earlier at Jharkhand has been rescheduled to June 1 till June 14. In a press release T. Meren Paul, Hon’y general secretary, NOA said that all the association/disciplines that have been qualified to the games are informed to submit the names of the sports, the coach and manager along with the certification letter from the respective National Federation, along with two passport colour photographs on or before March 15 for working out financial implications. The teams are also informed to prepare and submit plan for preparatory coaching camp. Namghar School Annual Sports meet Dimapur, Mar 12 (NPN): Namghar School Dimapur held its annual sports meet on March 12with P. Bendang Ao as the chief guest. In his speech the chief Guest touched on the significance of sports and urged the students to cultivate the true spirit of games and sports. Earlier the headmaster of the school Rajesh Bordoloi welcomed the gathering and vote of thanks was delivered by John Tirkey.
