Sitting Lok Sabha MP W. Wangnyuh Konyak Thursday claimed that DAN government was enjoying the fruit of his controversial trust vote for UPA government, for which he was expelled from the NPF party. “If I didn’t vote for UPA then, where’ll they be now” Wangnyuh said and claimed that the state government was getting a great deal of financial assistance from the UPA government at the centre in return for his vote. He said this while formally announcing his rejoining the Congress at a joint press conference with NPCC President K.V.Pusa in Kohima. Pusa also termed Wangyuh’s return as a “homecoming”. Wangyuh said that he had already applied for Congress party ticket even before joining the party to contest the forthcoming by-election under Tizit assembly constituency. Correspondent
