NPBCA pastors’ conference begins

Nagaland Police Baptist Churches Association (NPBCA) pastors’ conference started late Friday under the theme 'launching out deeper: prayer' on Friday at Police Baptist Church, Dimapur. Altogether 33 pastors and associate pastors from 27 churches in Nagaland attended the inaugural service of the conference. Delivering his key note address, Neizopre Ritse, pastor 3rd NAP, Tuensang stressed on the theme of the conference. He explained the need to launch out based on the success story of Abraham Lincoln, former president of American keep on trying despite of many failures. Enlightening the congregation on the importance of prayer, he opined prayer as a sacred duty of thanksgiving and one must support and handle the fragile life by prayer. Quoting the book of Acts, he said, "While in prayer one must adore the almighty, confess the faults and failures to Him, Thanked him for the blessings and make supplication to him for what we need". Earlier the programme begun with an opening hymn, bible reading and prayer from DEF Longleng, pastor, welcome address was delivered by Rakhu Livi, Pastor and SDPO Nuiland; programme convener gave away various presents to the pastors. The function began with a closing hymn and a benediction.
