DYC Wokha:District Youth Congress Wokha has mourned the untimely death of its general secretary, Suzane Kikon, who passed away on April 4 in Kohima. In a press statement by Z. Mhondamo Kikon, President, DYC, Wokha, late Suzane was described as a dedicated person who worked tirelessly for the party for many years. It was a great loss for the party and her death has created a vacuum. DYC has conveyed its deepest condolence to the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty God will grant strength and solace to the family and for the departed soul to rest in peace. NPYC: In a condolence message on behalf of Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress, Kuputo Shohe, President, NPYC, has expressed deep sorrow and anguish at the premature death of. Suzane Kikon, Vice-President, DYC, Wokha on April 4 at Naga Hospital, Kohima. NYPC has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty grant them peace of mind. RSU: Reguri Students’ Union (RSU) has mourned the demise of T. Sipichu Pfithu on April 3. In a press release issued by Rhutsomu Pfithu, general secretary RSU has stated that the deceased was serving as Reguri village council chairman and would always be remembered for his encouragement and tireless support towards the people. Meanwhile, the union has expressed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace. LSU: Lakhuti Students’ Union (LSU) has mourned the demise of Susan Kikon, an active member of LSU o April 4 and also stated that the vacuum created would be difficult to fill. Further, LSU has expressed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal rest to the departed soul. DMC: Dimapur Municipal Council Member, Ward No. 5 Kuhoi Zhimo has expressed shock over the demise of Doulo Angami. Kuhoi in his condolence message said late Duolo was an ardent social worker and a fatherly figure, who stood for the rights of the common man. “For me late Doulo was like and uncle as he treated me like his own son. His untimely demise has not only shocked me, but left me without guardians, who always helped me in doing my works towards the society”, he said, adding “His death has created a void in the Naga society, which will be very hard to fill in”. Kuhoi further extended his condolences and prayed Almighty God to give strength and solace to the bereaved family members.
