RJD Party Nagaland unit appealed to all political parties in the state especially Congress and NPF party not to use money power to purchase votes.
President, RJD, Nagaland State Khetovi Kinny in a release said “To speak the truth that the money which is under you custody meant to purchase vote not only belongs to you, but belongs to Nagas, since the government of India has sent those money for different development activities in the state”.
Reminding the voters to be wary of their intentions, Khetovi alleged “Beware we all are Christians, we believe in God, He sees what you intend to do with the money belongs to poor people of the Nagas”, at the same time appealed to the innocent voters not to hesitate to acknowledge money from political parties, affirming “You should take without any hesitation since they are giving you your due share. It is not sin”.
Illustrating a past incident where former MP, Wangyuh Konyak betrayed his colleagues by distributing money to buy votes in 41 A/C Tizit constituency, state RJD president warned constituency members to be cautions as he believed Wangyuh might prove to be disloyal even in near future, also the four MLAs who betrayed their trusted colleagues for reasons best known to them.
